HEAD START/DAY CARE

In cooperation with West-COP, preschool children from working families learn develop­mental and cognitive skills through a creative full day of playtime, supplemented by two meals and a snack.

AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Every afternoon during the school year, more than 100 children in the first through eighth grades are engaged in tutoring, homework assistance, literacy enrichment and computer instruction. Recreational activities including tennis lessons, environmental awareness and swimming are also provided.

SUMMER DAY CAMP PROGRAM

Classroom instruction is combined with swimming, recreational and cultural activities for children ages 6-12. Thirteen year olds are enrolled in the counselors-in-training pro­gram. Breakfast, lunch and a snack are served.

COMPUTER LAB

Children learn digital photography, create music and do their homework in the
computer lab in small intimate groups. Classes are held during the day for adults
in our local community through BOCES.

 

SATURDAY SCIENCE AND MATH ACADEMY

Twenty-six children participate in the new Science and Math Academy to enhance their skills and interest in interactive learning, hands on labs and internet research.
