Gateway Puberty Education Program

The Gateway program offers puberty education to all students in the Port Chester Middle School (approximately 600 students). The curriculum includes a dramatic presentation by Nite Star and small group presentations and discussions.

The Gateway program also offers case management to pregnant and parenting adolescents in the middle school and high school. Services provided include support groups and home visits. Students are encouraged and given the help needed to graduate from high school with a diploma or GED, keep their children in their care (if they wish), and avoid additional pregnancies for the duration of their education.
