Saturday Academy

On Saturdays, we offer the Carver Academy for Science and Math and the Saturday Reading Academy.

Saturday Reading Academy: The Saturday Reading Academy is a joint venture with Manhattanville College and Long Island University. Manhattanville College and Long Island University students provide individual reading tutorials to children in the After-School Program who need extra help in reading.

Saturday Math and Science Academy: The Saturday Math and Science Academy provides math and science instruction for up to 25 children in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade. The Math Building Program provides math instruction using concepts from architecture for 15 children in 5th, 6th and 7th grade.
